Performance analysis of PEM fuel cell in mobile application under real traffic and environmental conditions

The performance of Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) can reflect the state health for PEMFC, which is basis PEMFC prognostics, and energy management. This article explores evolution under real traffic environmental conditions based on data from a fuel cell-based vehicle used mail delivery. correlation between output voltage operating during start stop analyzed by three analysis methods. Then, influence ambient temperature (the voltage, power, maximum power point) studied polarization curve current experiments. Finally, model-driven method semi-empirical model square root unscented Kalman filter proposed to estimate PEMFC. test results show that has high stop, related hydrogen pressure respectively. will accelerate degradation catalysts membranes. great estimation accuracy. be combined with management strategy improve economy durability
